Tirupur Photo Exhibition and Stakeholder Meeting

On Thursday 20 July, our partners from SAVE and Transform Trade are hosting an event to showcase the results of a very ambitious participatory photography project for homeworkers in the area.

Women homeworkers were trained by professionals to tell their stories through photography, and the inspiring results, plus the photographers behind them, will be at the event.

There will also be a supply chain stakeholder meeting, which all attendees are welcome to participate in. There will be an opportunity to discuss ways to improve industry-wide collaboration for the rights and recognition of home-based and other informal workers; and the impact of the upcoming European legislation on corporate sustainability and due diligence on the garment industry in Tirupur.
